New Year, New Start
One of the best parts about a new year, is a new calendar. There are so many awesome calendars out there, I don’t know how anyone can be expected to actually make a decision.
If you’re like me and haven’t bought a 2012 calendar yet, take a look at some of my favorite calendars I gathered on Etsy.

There’s something so beautiful about the dainty imperfections of hand drawn art work. These calendars made my heart smile. I especially like the seasonal vegetable calendar, what a great way to remind yourself each month what foods are in season.

Of course my heart goes thump-thump for all things vintage. I get a good chuckle each time I check out the “Careless Love” calendar. So creative and hilarious at the same time.

These bold, retro calendars are so unique and would brighten any home or office. The red phone kills me, is it the cutest or what?
Decisions, decisions. I’m dying to know which one you fancy.

that hand drawn bird calendar is pretty cute!
Lesley – I know right? I was afraid that little cutie would get overlooked amongst all the others. You've got an eye for the pretties.

Oooh, it thrills me to no end when you do posts like this! My 2012 calendar this year has scenes from Vancouver {so lovely but so homesick-inducing on certain days…} & I have already done one of my favourite things on earth… Sit down at the kitchen table with the old calendar, the new one, several different-coloured pens & a cup of tea. Then I transfer all the birthdays, anniversaries & other important moments from the slightly beat-up 2011 calendar to the shiny, brand-new 2012 one. Swoon!!!
Um, oooof… Too excited. Must. Calm. Down.
OK. So, speaking of favourite things, let me choose one calendar from each lovely group you put together.
Hand-drawn beauties: I agree with you 100%. The seasonal veggies rock.
Vintage: the waffles one. Plus mon mari loooooooves waffles. So it makes me think of him. {Great, now I'm swooning again!}
Retro Graphics: you're right, the red telephones are fabulous. But I have to choose the lovely moose in the snowy woods. Must be the Canadian in me, non?

Gahhh this decision is tough! I think I love the pink/orange/yellow owl calendar best…so stinkin adorable (plus it would match my kitchen a bit!!)
