Carol Hannah Trunk Show
Every girl dreams of her perfect dress – the one she slips on that makes her smile, makes her cry, makes her whole heart glow. I’m a believer that every bride deserves to indulge the boutique dress shop experience. It’s so much sweeter and intimate, a far cry from the loud hustle and bustle of a huge bridal shop.
If you’re a bride looking for that perfect gown or just really dig fashion – you should totally make time to swing by the Carol Hannah trunk show this Saturday at The Sentimentalist in Atlanta. Meet Project Runway’s very own Carol Hannah, try on beautiful gowns with Gabi and munch on homemade blueberry scones made by Gabi’s mom, Krista.
Hope to see you there!
Gearing up for CAMP
Each year as school draws to an end, you can feel a buzz in the air. When the days are longer, the nights are warmer and the sweet smell of jasmine fills the air – it’s time for CAMP!
Leaving home and hitting the road to adventure — shacking up in cabins, soaking in all the fresh air — learning something new and meeting friends that’ll last a lifetime.
CAMP – Creating Art Meaning Purpose, was started in 2012 by Ginny Branch, Erica Loesing, Amy Osaba, Max LeBlanc, and Maria Taylor with the dream of building a creative community and nurturing the talents of artists and innovators, particularly those in the realm of stylists, photographers, floral designers, calligraphers, designers, artists and bloggers. This year I am happy to join the team as we create CAMP Classes and Workshops. We’ve got a schedule in the works that will blow your socks off!
So grab your canteen and bug spray, it’s going to be one unforgettable summer!

Elegant Ranch Wedding for Once Wed
This ranch wedding inspiration is proof that you don’t have to have over-the-top decor to have a beautiful wedding.
I am in love with the simplistic beauty – amazing photographer, stunning florals and show-stopping getaway car – just a few ingredients for one unforgettable day.
Odalys did a beautiful job of capturing the raw beauty of the ranch setting. She has the gift of being able to showcase a setting’s true beauty and she’s a master of light. Rosegolden did an absolutely incredible job with all of the florals. The deep purples tones blended with the softest of pinks is so stunning. My buddy Raney worked her magic again with hair and make-up. (And if you think her work is pretty, you should totally meet her in person. She has the best spirit and will have you rolling in the floor laughing in no time.)
A big hug to all of the lovely vendors involved in this shoot. These photos make my heart smile!
Also, a big thank you to Once Wed for featuring this shoot. Hop on over to Once Wed to check out the full gallery of images.

Run for the Roses
Grab your biggest hat and crush the ice for the mint juleps, today we’re sharing Blue Eyed Yonder’s Derby-inspired wedding shoot!
Inspired by the beautiful and iconic imagery of the Kentucky Derby, this “Run for the Roses” inspiration blends classic Derby imagery with a soft, romantic mood. We chose a soft color palette of creamy blushes and textured neutrals with just a pop of rich, emerald green. As an ode to the infamous large hats of the Derby, Jessica Gallo of Fine and Fleurie, created a beautiful, statement hairpiece for the bride hand-crafted of blush-colored silk. Enamored with the tradition of the winner’s blanket given out each year, Lindsay Coletta created a lush blanket of over 1,000 blush roses to drape over Mia, our handsome horse. For dinner, Allison Leuker, head chef at Sun In My Belly, pulled out all the stops with her rosemary and garlic crusted lamb chops and signature mint juleps. All of the talented creatives involved, paired with the lovely scenery at Serenbe, made this gorgeous inspiration one for the winner’s circle!

Maidens
There is something quite sacred about the morning hours a bride spends with her maidens. The shared excitement and anticipation can be heard in every laugh and often shown through joyful tears. This shoot was designed to inspire a bridal party to savor these final moments together. We can easily succumb to chaos when a group of girls frantically get ready, but if we slow that process down and create a sensual environment for them, these precious moments can remain engrained in their memories, becoming a part of the magical process leading up to a ceremony. – Once Wed
Our lovely Maidens shoot was featured this week on Once Wed, hop on over there to check out more gorgeous photos.
