Do you ever find yourself stuck in the homeowner’s trap? There’s tons of stuff you’d like to do in your house, but you’re afraid future buyers won’t like it. I find myself playing it safe all the time, but where’s the fun in that?
If you have a house that you don’t feel you can make truly your own, what’s the point? This brings me to my next little obsession – white floors!
Is it typical? No. Is it for everyone? No. Nevertheless, I am constantly drawn to pictures of gorgeous painted floors. It seems to rustic and charming, while still having a touch of elegance. Ever since we installed hardwood floors in our downstairs, I’ve been itching to do the same upstairs in the bedrooms. I think once I’ve done it, I’ll wonder why I didn’t rip that hideous carpet out years ago.
