Harbor Club Open House
We had the most wonderful time at the Harbor Club open house last November and thought why not share some of our favorites from the shoot! Talk about rustic beauty, this place was such a treasure. Under the creative direction of Simply Charming Socials, we paired some of our more masculine and industrial pieces with the organic arrangements from both Gertie Mae’s Floral Studio AND Amy Osaba floral.event.design and boy did they turn out nice. How lucky are we to have gotten to work with such gems!
A big ol’ thank you to everyone involved in making this shoot happen. What a talented bunch of creatives and friends to boot! See more from this shoot on The Lovely Find.

The Chaperone
Classic with a twist, The Chaperone is the perfect blend of sophistication and style with a dash of sweetness for good measure. The art of mixology is lost on none with this signature cocktail from The Liquor Vicar. Citrusy, sparkly, and just a bit sweet, The Chaperone is the life of the party and the entertainment, too!
The Chaperone
Citrusy, sparkly and fresh with the perfect touch of sweetness
– 1 oz. vodka
– ½ oz. grapefruit juice
– ¼ oz. lemon juice
– ½ oz. St. Germaine
– 2 dashes Regan’s Orange Bitters

Mid-Century Modern Shoot on 100 Layer Cake
Oh my goodness, y’all. Today we’re sharing a few of our favorites from our Mid-Century Modern shoot currently featured on 100 Layer Cake! Glitz and glam is where it’s at today with hints of gold sprinkled all over and some gorgeous jewel tones to boot. Where old Hollywood style meets classic retro color, take a look back into the cool weddings of the midcentury beauties. Photographer Michelle Landreau used her incredible talents to come up with some stunning compositions, and this invitation suite by Crafty Pie Press… talk about fabulous!
We’re loving all these retro hues! And they sure do look nice against such crisp white walls, yeah? There’s something about the simple colors that bring out the happy in us all, and we’re definitely feelin’ it with this shoot.
Speaking of simple, happy colors, let’s talk about these striking arrangements from Flowers by Yona. A testament to how less is definitely more.
Thanks for letting us share some of our favorite moments from this swanky shoot. Check out 100 Layer Cake to see more. And stay tuned next week for a special treat you won’t want to miss!

CAMP Spring Supper 2014
A few weeks ago we kicked off Spring with a big ol’ party at the CAMP Spring Supper, and boy did we have ourselves a good time! CAMP, for those of you that may not know, is a collective of artists, designers, makers and the like who collaborate to teach and inspire other creatives here in the Atlanta area. Every so often we host a dinner to celebrate successes and gather all our friends, colleagues, and anyone else who wants to join in on the fun. There’s one a couple times a year, so come and be a part of the magic!
Sun In My Belly catered this party to our hearts’ content and, let me tell ya, the food was good! With bites of perfectly cooked veggies and pastas and raspberries (oh, the raspberries!), you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who didn’t go home with a full belly and a happy heart. And did you catch a glimpse at that menu? Yes Ma’am Paper + Goods did a beautiful job with the lettering if I do say so myself. Florals by Martha McIntosh were just lovely. Everybody brought their A game to make this season’s supper one for the books!
And let us not forget the tasty treats shared by XK Macarons! Everyone walked out happy with some sweet little midnight snacks… or should I say drive home snacks because, let’s be real, who can resist the call of the macaron? The epitome of beautifully crafted goodies, the swag bags from Minted were chock full of takeaways anyone would give their right brain to have. What a sweet way to say goodnight!
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this season’s blowout! We at Blue Eyed Yonder can’t wait to see y’all in the fall for another CAMP Supper extravaganza!
