New Additions

Meet Ebenezer. As soon as I spotted this piece, I just knew I had to have it! With 24 wood pegs, the creative possibilities for this piece are endless!

Meet Virgina. This little lady has been around the world and back again. Come sit for a spell and ask her about her days spent in New York. She may even spill a little about the talented stylist she used to live with.

Can our Garnie Shopping Cart get any cuter? This cart is constructed of metal and features lots of great, rusty patina. With her two removable wire shopping baskets, she’ll steal your heart in no time.

Stay tuned a little later this week, we have more introductions coming your way!

Happy Friday + Instaweek

Viva la neutrals.
BEY graces a glossy.
Just cruisin’.
Fresh flowers & favorite candle.
Glamour shots.
Puppy naps.

Fridays are fun for many reasons, for most it marks the end of a long week or the beginning of a fun weekend. On Fridays I always look forward to the Instaweek recaps here on the blog. I know I’m not the only one that likes to scroll through their Instagram feed in their spare time  – it’s like a digital memory book. I love seeing the little snippets, sweet moments, everyday details. You gotta admit, it’s pretty awesome.

Much to my surprise, I got an IG notification that said, “MisterBEY is now following you.” That’s right, Mr. Blue Eyed Yonder jumped aboard the IG train. You can follow him @misterbey. (And yes, he currently only has pictures of Dottie Mae – go figure.)

Hope you guys have a lovely weekend!

Introductions

Today we’re happy to introduce some new members to the BEY inventory family. Up first is Foye. Isn’t she darling? With her sassy chartreuse seat and upright cane back, she has quite the personality.

Our Mejerle Sitting Chair is petite and pink! Covered in gorgeous rose-colored velvet, she’ll have you smitten in no time.

Maybe it’s just me, but the more “loved” a piece is, the better! Our Eisman Gentleman’s Chair has definitely stood the test of time. It features gorgeous, burnt-rose upholstery with a tufted back and hammered nail trim. The jute webbing underneath is loose, giving this chair a classic, weathered look.

Stay tuned… more fabulous new pieces are on their way!

Maidens

There is something quite sacred about the morning hours a bride spends with her maidens. The shared excitement and anticipation can be heard in every laugh and often shown through joyful tears. This shoot was designed to inspire a bridal party to savor these final moments together. We can easily succumb to chaos when a group of girls frantically get ready, but if we slow that process down and create a sensual environment for them, these precious moments can remain engrained in their memories, becoming a part of the magical process leading up to a ceremony. – Once Wed

Our lovely Maidens shoot was featured this week on Once Wed, hop on over there to check out more gorgeous photos.

Happy Friday + Instaweek

Taxes.
Taxes.
More Taxes.
Drink.

I know I’m not alone in the realm of procrastination. Every year I say I won’t wait until the last minute, and every year here I am… glued to the “tax table”. On a brighter note, I have been VERY diligent about expense tracking for 2013. Everyone has a different system and I’m all about sticking with what works best for you. I started using Outright Accounting Software towards the end of last year and have really loved it. I also use Freshbooks for invoicing which has made all of that easy breezy. I love that these programs both have apps so I can manage expenses and send invoices on the go. What helps you keep your sanity during tax season?
